Chocolate Caramel Pretzel bars are quick and easy to make. These bars are the perfect amount of salty and sweet. You can make these bars for a snack or for any occasion. I love making these bars for a quick snack to have around the house. I always have homemade snacks around the house and this is a quick and easy go to recipe for me. So wether you are looking for something salty or sweet this is the perfect treat!
How to make Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Bars
Step One:
Get a cookie sheet or baking pan and line it with wax paper.
Step Two:
Melt 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips and spread the chocolate over the wax paper in a thick layer.
Step Three:
Gently press pretzels into chocolate. All of the chocolate should be covered with one layer of pretzels. See the picture below.
Step Four:
Unwrap 25 caramel squares and put them in a microwave safe bowl.
Step Five:
Add 2 tablespoons of heavy whipped cream to the bowl of caramels. Microwave it for 20 second increments until the caramel is melted. Once the caramel is melted, mix the caramel and whipped cream until the mixture comes together.
Step Six:
Drizzle caramel over pretzels. Make sure to not get the caramel on the wax sheet, because the caramel will stick to the wax paper.
Step Six:
Repeat steps 3-5. (Add a second layer of pretzels and then drizzle a second layer of caramel.)
Step Seven:
Put 1/2 cup of chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and melt the chips. Once the chocolate chips are melted, drizzle the chocolate on top.
Step Eight:
Put the pan in the refrigerator to cool.
Step Nine:
Once the chocolate caramel pretzel bars are cool take the bars out of the refrigerator and cut them into bars.

Equipment
- 1 Baking Pan
- 2 Microwave safe bowls
- 2 Baking spatulas or spoons

- 2 1/2 Cups Milk Chocolate Chips
- 50 Caramel Squares (11 oz. Bag)
- 2 Tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 15 oz. Bag of Pretzels

- Put the pan in the refrigerator to cool and harden.
- Once the bars are cool, take the bars out of the refrigerator and cut them into bars.
